The Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Technician to join our Ontario team. You will receive training on the tools and equipment you will be handling. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients to assess their equipment issues and provide effective solutions. You will travel to various locations, including private residences and community facilities, to meet client needs.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Repair: You will quickly learn to repair wheelchairs and custom mobility devices, navigating our software system to assess and resolve issues with manual and power equipment.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: You will prioritize a respectful and empathetic customer experience, ensuring that client needs are met and that we fulfill our commitment to accessibility.
  • Flexibility and Mobility: You will work 8-hour shifts and travel to clients' homes and community facilities, adapting your schedule to accommodate their changing needs.

What You Bring:

  • Technical Skills: Previous experience in customer service and equipment assembly or repair is essential. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and power equipment is a plus, along with a genuine interest in learning new techniques for solving practical challenges.
  • Empathy: You possess the ability to handle various situations with professionalism and compassion, prioritizing client comfort and urgency while managing conflicts effectively.
  • Additional Requirements: A valid G-class driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary. You will be provided with a company vehicle for regular travel. A clean criminal background check and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are also required.
