The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mobility Equipment Service Specialist to join our team. This position requires a compassionate individual who is a skilled problem solver and enjoys assisting others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and Repair Mobility Devices: You will be responsible for delivering, installing, and repairing custom mobility equipment, including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and elevating devices. Your tasks will include:
    • Creating service orders and quotes in our management system.
    • Assessing and troubleshooting client issues with their mobility devices.
    • Performing repairs on-site and in-store for both manual and power devices.
    • Addressing electrical system repairs within mobility equipment.
    • Programming and setting up basic power and mobility equipment.
    • Installing and repairing elevating products and solutions.
  • Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: As a representative of CB Canada, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and support. Building trusting relationships with clients is essential to our mission.
  • Flexibility and Mobility: This role requires travel to client locations and facilities.

Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Candidates should have previous experience in customer service, familiarity with diagnostic tools, and mechanical repair skills. Knowledge of mobility products is advantageous.
  • Empathetic Approach: A successful candidate will demonstrate empathy towards clients' needs and circumstances, navigating situations with professionalism and compassion.
  • Additional Requirements: Candidates must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
