Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Utilities Manager to join our team at BUILD RITE HOMES LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our public utilities systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operations of solid or liquid waste collection and disposal systems, including training drivers on safe waste handling practices.
  • Oversee the maintenance of sewage treatment plant equipment and prepare reports on water quality.
  • Manage the operations of electrical power distribution systems, including planning and directing distribution activities.
  • Oversee the management of water filtration, purification processes, and pumping operations, including scheduling and maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Plan and direct the distribution of heating oil products to retail distributors and regional storage sites.
  • Train and supervise staff, including managing finances and budgets.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in public utilities management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to work under pressure.
