Job Title: Public Utilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Utilities Manager to join our team at Build Rite Homes Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Public Utilities Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of our public utilities, including waste collection and disposal, sewage treatment, electrical power distribution, and water filtration and purification. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to train and supervise a team of 3-4 people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operations of waste collection and disposal systems, including training drivers and ensuring safe operation of disposal facilities.
  • Manage the operations of sewage treatment plants, including scheduling and directing maintenance of plant equipment and preparing reports on water quality.
  • Manage the operations of electrical power distribution systems, including planning and directing distribution activities and preparing reports on power supply.
  • Manage water filtration and purification processes, including scheduling and overseeing maintenance of plant equipment and preparing reports on water supply and quality.
  • Plan and direct the distribution of heating oil products to retail distributors and regional storage sites.
  • Manage finances and budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks.
