Job Title: Public Utilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Utilities Manager to join our team at BUILD RITE HOMES LTD.

Job Summary:

The Public Utilities Manager will be responsible for managing the operations of various public utilities, including waste management, sewage treatment, electrical power distribution, and water filtration. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage solid or liquid waste collection and disposal systems, ensuring safe operation and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance of sewage treatment plant equipment and prepare reports on water quality.
  • Plan and direct the distribution of electrical power and manage the operations of electrical power distribution systems.
  • Manage water filtration and purification processes, scheduling and overseeing maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Plan and direct the distribution of heating oil products to retail distributors and regional storage sites.
  • Manage finances and budget for public utilities operations.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in public utilities management or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The work language is English.
