Job Title: Public Utilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Utilities Manager to join our team at Build Rite Homes Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operations of our public utilities, including waste collection and disposal, sewage treatment, electrical power distribution, and water filtration and purification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operations of waste collection and disposal systems, including training drivers and ensuring safe operation of disposal facilities.
  • Manage the operations of sewage treatment plants, schedule and direct maintenance of plant equipment, and prepare reports on water quality.
  • Manage the operations of electrical power distribution systems, plan and direct the distribution activities of a municipal electrical power establishment.
  • Manage water filtration, purification processes, and pumping operations, schedule and oversee the maintenance of plant equipment, and prepare reports on water supply and water quality.
  • Plan and direct the distribution of heating oil products to retail distributors and regional storage sites.
  • Manage finances or budget.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 3-4 people. The work will involve working under pressure and attention to detail.

Experience:

The successful candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
