Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Hand to join our team at ServiceMaster Clean of Chatham, Windsor & Sarnia. As a Lead Hand, you will be responsible for managing cleaning operations and staff assigned to residential and commercial client sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise cleaning operations to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain daily log books to record unusual activity and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage work projects and assign crews/staff as required to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Attend weekly production meetings to discuss progress and address any issues or concerns.
  • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of cleaning operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning industry.
  • Proven ability to manage people and drive performance of crew/staff.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage clients in conversations to service their needs and meet expectations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated sound work ethics and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
