Job Summary

Plasman is a leading global automotive and manufacturing company seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Innovation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and optimizing production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective assembly strategies, ensuring cost, throughput, safety, and longevity are optimized.
  • Process Improvement: Lead the development of new manufacturing processes, including machine design and build, to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Supplier Management: Work with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing engineers, ensuring compliance with automation standards and best practices.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Recognized Engineering Technical diploma in a related area, with a preference for candidates with a university degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in the automotive engineering field, with a strong background in integrated manufacturing and design.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
