About the Role

The Media Assistant Planner is a key member of the Planning team at Spark Foundry, responsible for driving measurable results through meaningful insights. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, math proficiency, and creative thinking to support the development and execution of media plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Planners and Supervisors in managing and executing approved media plans, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Develop and organize supportive data for plans and recommendations, utilizing technical skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Communicate with local Field clients to facilitate information and answer questions, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Manage contracts and insertion orders with media vendors, ensuring accurate reconciliation and timely payment.
  • Input non-broadcast/OLV media buys and manage discrepancy reconciliations, ensuring accurate media spending.
  • Assist with the billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Update blocking charts, budgets, and budget summaries, providing critical support to the Planning team.
  • Conduct media research and communicate with the creative account team, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Update competitive media reports and technical support for presentation materials, providing valuable insights to the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications.
  • Strong track record of success in previous roles, demonstrating analytical skills, math proficiency, and creative thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new tools and systems.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely results.
