We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Jessy's Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and prepare menus, estimating food requirements and requisitioning supplies as needed.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Work under pressure to meet customer demands.
- Work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
- Stand for extended periods and move frequently throughout the kitchen.
- Client focus and ability to work with customers.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
