Job Title: Glass Installation Specialist

Flynn Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing glass and other materials in commercial and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring smooth operation and safety
  • Instruct apprentices on proper installation techniques and safety protocols
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, using specialized tools and equipment
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment, working at heights and in challenging environments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1-2 years of experience in glass installation or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, outdoors, and in physically demanding environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
