Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to ensure precise fits
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, ensuring proper function and safety
  • Instruct apprentices on installation techniques and best practices
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, ensuring prompt and efficient service
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment, ensuring safe working conditions
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate installation

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in glass installation or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
