Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Kiewit. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with construction supervisors, schedulers, and planners to ensure that quality objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Conduct training and development programs for quality inspectors and other personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics and performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure that they meet quality standards and requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that quality expectations are met
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or quality assurance
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Proven track record of improving quality performance and reducing defects
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001 and OSHA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as required
