Job Title: Family Law Associate Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Lawyer to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions. As a Family Law Associate Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional legal services to our clients in the area of family law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters, including contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child and spousal support, and property and equalization of net family property.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of clients and referral sources.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and case law.
  • Work collaboratively with other lawyers and staff to achieve team goals.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract new clients and grow the practice.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in family law, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of family law matters, including contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child and spousal support, and property and equalization of net family property.
  • Strong academic credentials and exceptional communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or under the direction of senior lawyers as part of an established and growing team.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Membership in the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
