Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of sprinkler fitters and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Collaborate with management and engineers to develop and implement new projects and initiatives.
- Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Manage and maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure staff are aware of potential hazards and safety procedures.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Collaborate with management and engineers to develop and implement new projects and initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in sprinkler system installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Proven track record of supervising and coordinating the work of tradespeople.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification an asset.
