Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in mechanical system design, operation, and performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Plan and manage projects, preparing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
  • Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, reviewing and approving designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
  • Assess business opportunities and develop strategies to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
