Position Overview:
As a Healthcare Unit Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication among healthcare professionals, departments, patients, and their families, while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive patient information is upheld. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of administrative functions, including:
- Welcoming and directing visitors, patients, and healthcare staff.
- Maintaining and organizing patient records and documentation.
- Transcribing and processing physician directives.
- Coordinating and scheduling patient examinations and treatments.
Additionally, you will engage in a range of administrative tasks that support the operational needs of the unit.
Required Qualifications:A minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent. Successful completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or similar training program is essential.
Additional Required Qualifications:Familiarity with Connect Care is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:As required.
