Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate crop growth and development, considering factors such as water saturation, light, and temperature.
- Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform routine chemical and physical tests of products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Identify and investigate compliance issues, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Organize planting, cultivating, and crop harvesting activities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Pesticide Applicator's Licence.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
