We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Fellburn Care Centre in Burnaby, BC. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, assess patient needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs to identify problems and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the interprofessional team to provide patient-centered care.
- Provide teaching and education to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care provided and patient responses.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and research to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an approved school of Nursing and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Ability to assess patients and apply assessments to determine appropriate patient care interventions.
- Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
- Knowledge of chronic management models and ability to teach and promote chronic disease self-management.
