As a Registered Nurse, Medicine, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. **About the Role** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a medicine unit. As a Registered Nurse, Medicine, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients, and developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will work collaboratively with the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery. **Responsibilities** * Assess patients and collect information from a variety of sources to determine the best course of care * Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional care team * Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families * Collaborate with members of the interprofessional care team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery * Participate in care conferences and councils to discuss patient care and make recommendations for improvement * Document assessments, nursing diagnoses, interventions, and patient outcomes in accordance with practice standards and Fraser Health procedures **Qualifications** * Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) * Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessment and provide nursing care through appropriate technical, therapeutic, and safety interventions * Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the interprofessional care team * Ability to promote person-centered care and demonstrate empathy, trust, and respect for patients and families * Ability to integrate and evaluate data from multiple sources to problem-solve effectively **About Fraser Health** Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in British Columbia, serving over two million people in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
