Aviva Canada is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Claims Leader to guide our Property Claims team towards excellence.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and enhance our Property Claims team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Articulate and communicate the link between our purpose, strategy, commitment, and culture, ensuring alignment across the team.
  • Identify, assess, and retain top talent to strengthen our business and drive success.
  • Develop a deep understanding of your team members' strengths, challenges, and aspirations. Provide support and guidance to leaders within your team, fostering their growth and career development.
  • Engage in honest, constructive conversations with your team, setting clear direction, goals, and expectations. Deliver frequent, honest, clear, and constructive feedback to enhance performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Champion innovation and explore new ways to improve customer experiences. Collaborate with your team to identify opportunities for simplification and efficiency in our processes.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management controls and regulatory requirements. Guide your team in meeting our obligations and upholding ethical standards.
  • Leverage data, insights, and frontline expertise to drive performance improvement and achieve exceptional results.
  • Analyze customer demand patterns and identify root causes of inefficiencies within the business unit. Develop solutions to address these challenges and optimize operations.
