About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to join our team at Brickred Systems. The successful candidate will work closely with our global teams, collaborating with IT partners and Product Managers to translate business requirements into testing-ready technical user stories and manage them through the software release process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business & IT Interface: Serve as a critical liaison between business and IT functions to elicit business requirements and translate them into testable user stories, ensuring that the delivered functionality meets business needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT Business Partners, Stakeholders, Product Owners, and Development Teams, including Testers, Developers, IT Architects, Master Data Management, and external Vendors, to deliver IT solutions aligned with project and launch timelines.
  • User Story Analysis: Analyze user stories and solution proposals to maximize the re-use of existing platform capabilities while identifying gaps that may require enhancement.
  • GxP Compliance: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current GxP requirements and documentation standards, with the ability to author validation-ready test scripts.
  • Communication Management: Manage communications across multiple business units and internal IT cross-functional teams, ensuring clear and consistent information flow.
  • Detail-Oriented Work: Perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy, explaining complex concepts with clarity and simplicity.
  • Professional Growth: Actively seek opportunities for professional development, taking on additional responsibilities as appropriate.
  • Business Partnering & Product Management: Display strong skills and capabilities in business partnering and product management.
Required Skills/Experience
  • Pharma/Cell & Gene Therapy Knowledge: Knowledge of pharma and/or cell & gene therapy supply chain processes, with project-based work experience in the pharmaceutical industry being a plus.
  • GxP Validation: Familiarity with GxP validation processes and the software development lifecycle.
  • Agile & Tool Proficiency: Experience with AP ALM, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
  • Business Applications Experience: Prior experience with business/end-user applications, particularly in health care provider portals, is a plus.
  • Complex Process Understanding: Ability to comprehend complex business processes and effectively communicate and coach others.
  • Continuous Improvement: A proactive approach to improving processes, tools, and organization, with the ability to work independently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English.
Must-Have Skills
  • Proficiency in Requirements Elicitation and Documentation: Proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation for GxP systems.
  • Experience in UAT Authoring and Execution: Experience in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) authoring and execution.
  • Proficiency with Tools: Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, ALM/Retina, and Lucid Spark/Lucid Charts.
