Senior Manager of Strategic Supply Chain for Retail Hardlines

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instock Manager to oversee Amazon Canada's Retail Hardlines sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing strategies that enhance inventory management across your designated categories, optimize the supply chain, and elevate the overall customer experience. Success in this position requires a strong proficiency in data utilization to influence stakeholders and the ability to develop scalable systems and processes that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee essential Instock operations, including purchasing, demand forecasting, capacity management, inventory health, and performance reporting.
  2. Design and refine Instock systems and processes in collaboration with technical and product teams.
  3. Engage with operational teams to drive efficiencies through collaborative efforts.
  4. Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance cost efficiency and profitability, working closely with partner teams for execution.
Basic Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Excel.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
  3. Proven track record in process enhancement, systems development, and project management.
  4. Experience in communicating outcomes to senior management.
  5. Ability to manage and analyze extensive data sets.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Familiarity with statistical methods or other analytical approaches.
  2. Experience with SQL.
  3. Demonstrated success in achieving results through collaboration and influence.
  4. Understanding of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
  5. MBA or related advanced degree.
