Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Amazon Canada's Retail Hardlines business. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives that drive inventory management, supply chain optimization, and customer experience improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Manage core instock functions, including buying, forecasting, capacity management, instock rates, unhealthy inventory, and reporting.
  2. Process Improvement: Create and improve instock systems and processes in partnership with technical and product teams.
  3. Team Collaboration: Interact with operations teams and drive efficiencies through team collaboration.
  4. Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve cost structure and profitability and work with partner teams on execution.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience with Excel and data analysis.
  2. Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  3. Leadership experience in process improvement, systems development, and project management.
  4. Communication skills to present results to senior leadership.
  5. Data analysis skills to manage and analyze large data sets.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
  2. Experience with SQL.
  3. Results-driven experience partnering with and influencing others.
  4. Knowledge of P&L.
  5. MBA or related Masters degree.
