The work setting is primarily within a restaurant, where the supervisor will manage a team and ensure efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Oversee the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
The supervisor will manage a team of approximately 5-10 individuals.
Work Conditions- Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Client-focused with a commitment to excellent service.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork.
- Effective oral communication abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
- Minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
- This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 32 to 35 hours per week.
- Work language is English.
