Role Overview
The IT Project Manager is responsible for steering significant projects, ensuring all components are managed effectively to meet deadlines while adhering to budgetary constraints. Engaging with business partners and various departments is crucial for achieving successful outcomes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project strategies.
- Track project milestones and resolve critical challenges.
- Present updates and strategies through formal meetings and presentations.
- Remain informed about advancements in processes and technology for system enhancements.
Qualifications for Success
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (IT) is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with collaborative workflow tools.
- Proven experience in budget management, process optimization, and strategic planning.
- At least 2 years of project management experience in the retail sector or a comparable field.
- Preferred 4 years of experience as a project manager in retail or a related industry.
- Experience in the retail sector is essential.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficient in standard office software and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
