Senior Manager, Business Operations and Initiatives

As a Senior Manager, Business Operations and Initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in our Retirement Senior Leadership team, overseeing strategic planning, project management, and operational excellence initiatives. This role coordinates business planning activities, tracks performance metrics, and advances key strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the annual business plan, master calendar, and performance tracking documents for Retirement Leadership.
- Assess regulatory and/or legislated developments in the markets in which we operate and evaluate impacts, recommending strategies and developing comprehensive project plans if required.
- Serve as Project Manager for strategic initiatives within the division, adhering to PMBok methodologies and organizational standards.
- Lead project teams, monitor progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee division-wide engagement activities and communication initiatives to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Create and implement productivity tools and accelerators to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the EVP, providing support in preparing senior executive and Board communications regarding key achievements, risks, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Experience in organizing and directing cross-functional teams and departments.
- Proven track record in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Strong project management skills, ideally certified (e.g., PMP) with experience in project lifecycle management and interdepartmental communications.
