Project Manager/Business Analyst

Contract Position

Location: Brampton, ON (onsite reporting)

Role Overview

The objective of this role is to deliver comprehensive project management services for a variety of small to medium-sized initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technically oriented projects and will be capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

This position involves managing several projects, which may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to outline and document project objectives
  • Drafting and securing approval for the project charter
  • Creating, monitoring, and adjusting project timelines
  • Conducting business and systems analysis; generating business requirements documentation
  • Providing regular progress updates and facilitating team and Steering Committee meetings
  • Assisting in the development of Request for Purchase (RFP) documentation as necessary
  • Planning and leading user acceptance testing and ensuring knowledge transfer to relevant client personnel as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, particularly in the execution of technical IT projects
  • PMP certification is highly preferred
