Position Overview

Brand Momentum is on the lookout for a Floral Merchandising Specialist to operate autonomously across three retail locations, dedicating approximately 6 hours each week.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently while possessing a keen eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at cultivating strong business relationships. Experience in merchandising within a supermarket setting is advantageous. A smartphone and internet access are essential. If you have a passion for gardening and a green thumb, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute merchandising duties at designated retail locations.
  • Maintain product sections, including restocking and removing any dead plants.
  • Address out-of-stock situations promptly.
  • Ensure cleanliness of sections, including dusting display fixtures.
  • Water the plants and flowers regularly.
  • Complete and submit daily visit and call reports.
  • Conduct store visits twice weekly, at the start of the week and just before the weekend.
  • Establish and nurture a positive relationship with the store manager.
  • Remove any dead leaves or blooms.
  • Eliminate any unsalable products.
  • Document displays with photographs.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Preferred home location within 10 KM of the retail store.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Previous merchandising experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a smartphone and have internet access.
