Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Best Buy. As a bilingual (English and French) learning specialist, you will create and deliver innovative people development and training programs that support our employees and leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs and materials in both French and English, including webinars, virtual, hybrid, or physical classroom delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop training strategies for new business initiatives, products, services, or performance gaps.
  • Work with leadership, stakeholders, and vendors to assess training needs and scope, understanding execution gaps and changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies that necessitate training.
  • Develop training content in collaboration with the Learning and Development team, including job aids, webinars, eLearning, and other necessary resources.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing training programs to meet identified needs and requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a learning specialist with related formal training.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Teams.
  • Experience in facilitating/presenting training programs in corporate/retail settings.
  • Experience in learning content creation and tools such as Articulate.
