Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at JAKU CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This includes estimating costs and materials, preparing production and other reports, recruiting and hiring workers, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on construction sites
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure successful completion
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in dusty and noisy environments
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
