About Cpus Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc.: We are in search of a Senior Desktop Engineer to enhance our IT Field Services division. This role is pivotal in establishing and executing standards that promote effective support for our desktop and endpoint operational environment. The Senior Desktop Engineer will work closely with various teams to develop a comprehensive support framework for all desktop and deskside service delivery, encompassing Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and remote assistance, along with other IT equipment utilized in the field.

Position Summary:

  • Performing assessments to identify gaps between current capabilities and future requirements.
  • Providing strategic recommendations for immediate, mid-term, and long-term objectives.
  • Executing quick wins, which include formal documentation, staff training, and the establishment of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in desktop, deskside, and endpoint support.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing projects.
  • ITIL V4 Certification is mandatory.
  • Certifications from CompTIA, HDI, and Microsoft are advantageous.
