Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Chucks Roadhouse, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies, and with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of staff.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety practices.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with high volume of customers.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
