Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate events, including tradeshow planning, client site tours, and sponsorship management.
  • Manage client relationships, including conducting site inspections and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, including preparing sales and media kits, and executing direct mail campaigns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Must have excellent typing skills and accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills specifically Microsoft Suite.
  • Hospitality and Sales experience are considered an asset.
  • Understanding of Opera PMS and Sales & Catering systems is an asset.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced open office environment.
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, and enjoy meeting new people.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction.
