About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Slipacoff Dental Centre. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring our clinic is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with procedures, such as preparing instruments and materials.
  • Provide excellent patient care, educating patients on oral hygiene and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Take and develop X-rays, as well as record dental procedures performed on patients.
  • Invoice patients for dental services and maintain accurate financial records.
Requirements
  • Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
