Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team at Stock Transportation. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customer service center, handling payroll and billing tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
  • Facilitate the flow of information within the customer service center
  • Complete accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll tasks
  • Enter data from timesheets and perform daily audits
  • Generate payroll and billing reports as needed
  • Encourage compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems
  • Schedule and invoice field trips and charters
  • Perform general office duties
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of college-level accounting courses preferred
  • Fluent in French and English
  • 1-3 years of experience with computerized payroll and billing systems; experience with Oracle preferred
  • Excellent computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ten-key and data entry skills
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and speed in data entry
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with demonstrated diplomacy skills
  • Strong clerical skills
  • Careful attention to detail
Work Environment

This is a full-time regular position with no travel requirements. The primary location is Canada-Ontario-Rexdale-Toronto West, with work locations in Toronto West.
