Overview

Avison Young is seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to fill the Operations Coordinator role. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing and dynamic team, as we expand our capacity in the Canadian commercial real estate industry.

As the Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing daily team initiatives and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. You will oversee daily admin tasks and project timelines, as well as help coordinate and drive team initiatives forward. We are looking for an individual who possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive attitude – someone who will act as the glue that holds our team together in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As the Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing daily team initiatives and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. You will oversee daily admin tasks and project timelines, as well as help coordinate and drive team initiatives forward. We are looking for an individual who possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive attitude – someone who will act as the glue that holds our team together in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages, including MS Windows, MS Office, and Adobe.
  • Excellent verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with various points of data.
  • Able to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to team members and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Must be proactive and take initiative with a high attention to detail.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision.
