Job Title: Associate Dean – Health Sciences

Bow Valley College is a leading institution in the Calgary area, with a strong focus on providing high-quality education and training to students. As an Associate Dean – Health Sciences, you will play a key role in promoting excellence in teaching and learning, and fostering a culture of scholarly activity within the Health Sciences department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic leadership to the Health Sciences department, promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Support faculty and staff in their professional development and scholarly activity.
  • Lead the development of new programs and courses, and oversee the implementation of existing ones.
  • Manage the department's budget and resources, ensuring effective use of College funds.
  • Represent the College at external events and partnerships, promoting the College's reputation and interests.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (PhD preferred).
  • Five years' experience in a post-secondary environment, preferably with experience in teaching and academic leadership.
  • Police Information Check.
