Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Initiatives Director to join our team at the Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our Wealth Operations group, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of transformational initiatives that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement transformational initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement business strategies
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on business operations and process improvement
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to support business initiatives
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with business initiatives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • 9+ years of relevant experience in a leadership role, preferably in a financial services industry
  • Proven track record of leading transformational initiatives and driving business growth
  • Expertise in business operations, process improvement, and change management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
