Job Description

The Enterprise Strategy team at Manulife Insurance Malaysia is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director, Enterprise Strategy. This position plays a critical role in driving the company's transformation and strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with senior leaders across the organization to achieve strategic objectives. They will be accountable for the execution of multi-year strategic initiatives aligned with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage integrated plans for strategic initiatives, ensuring key metrics and success criteria are established.

  • Lead activities such as milestone and impact planning reviews and approvals, budget planning and management.

  • Drive actions and decisions, and communicate key insights to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Manage initiatives of large size and complexity, and identify opportunities for early trade-offs and influence decision makers.

  • Create alignment and momentum within the organization to transition to execution teams and drive the mandate.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in business or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or similar strategy roles preferred.

  • 10 years combined education and experience in a strategy function within a large multi-national corporation, ideally in the Financial Services industry.

  • Strong business focus and understanding of Enterprise Strategy methods and intent.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, with comfort in quantitative and financial analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership team members individually and collectively.

  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse environments and cultures.
