As a Security Services Coordinator, your primary role will be to assist residents by delivering information and services as required. This position demands a self-driven, sociable, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 1500 to 2300
Site Location: Toronto, ON
Compensation: $17.50/ hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and clarify residents' needs and preferences, respond to inquiries, and provide directions and instructions.
- Maintain composure under pressure and respond swiftly to situations.
- Manage and filter communications effectively.
- Coordinate access for authorized service providers to perform tasks within residential units.
- Safeguard resident privacy and uphold the organization's reputation by ensuring confidentiality.
- Enhance professional knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
- Contribute to the department's and organization's reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests; seek opportunities to add value to job outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety and access control protocols while maintaining a secure work environment.
- Provide protection to clients, residents, and properties of the buildings serviced.
- Monitor common areas to ensure they are free of debris, hazards, and obstructions, and verify that access points to sensitive areas are secured.
- Enforce organizational rules, regulations, and applicable laws while assisting law enforcement and medical personnel as necessary.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and residents.
- Conduct routine patrols of the property, including parking areas and perimeters, and respond to emergencies and alarms.
- Complete daily documentation, including logs and incident reports, as required.
- Adhere to all on-site procedures, including employee policies, training protocols, and client guidelines.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Security License is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; completion of college-level courses in Business/Hospitality or Police/Security Foundations is an asset.
