About the Role:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Guest Attendant to join our team at Fairmont Vancouver Airport. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests' rooms are clean, comfortable, and meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean all assigned guestrooms to standard, including dusting, making beds, removing used linen, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, and replenishing rooms with supplies.
  • Take initiative to add a personalized experience for our guests, exceeding their expectations and ensuring their stay is memorable.
  • Take ownership of guests' privacy and belongings, while providing exceptional service and maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Sign in and out master keys daily and maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Update and record all cleaned rooms, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office.
  • Report necessary maintenance items to ensure our facilities are well-maintained and guest-ready.

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Excellent organization skills and time management, with the ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming.

Physical Aspects of the Position:

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40+ lbs.
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
