Room Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at River Rock Casino Resort. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas of the resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy, including making beds, changing linens, and vacuuming
  • Restock amenities and supplies as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, polishing, and scrubbing floors and surfaces
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste baskets
  • Report any damages or maintenance issues to the Team Leader or Manager
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
