The Senior Financial Analyst role is integral to the Technology Finance Team, concentrating on the Wireless CAPEX portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technology Finance, the ideal candidate will utilize strong analytical and communication skills to ensure the precision and timeliness of CAPEX reporting.
This role is crucial in the forecasting and variance analysis process, collaborating closely with various stakeholders across cross-functional teams. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to various ad-hoc special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the financial operations of the organization by preparing and reviewing month-end journal entries, forecasts, and budgets.
- Provide insights on financial outcomes and key business metrics while driving continuous enhancements within the finance team.
- Collaborate with essential business partners and finance leadership, communicating significant trends, observations, and business implications.
- Develop and produce dashboards and scorecard reports for management use, assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting packages.
- Conduct month-end variance analysis and commentary against budgets and forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Support financial modeling and decision-making in alignment with strategic initiatives.
- A degree in a business-related discipline (preferably Accounting or Finance), accompanied by a professional accounting designation (CPA) or an MBA.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and ERP systems such as Oracle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational capabilities.
- Comfortable engaging with senior leadership and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of engaging with leadership in both business and finance contexts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
