Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Team Lead to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations at a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to security staff, ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are followed.
  • Monitor and manage security systems, including fire and life safety, access control, and CCTV.
  • Assist in the deployment of security staff and handle dispatch duties, including incident call taking.
  • Ensure that all security staff have received the necessary training and are equipped to handle emergency situations.
  • Conduct security audits and investigate incidents and complaints.
  • Communicate with the Client Service Manager to address any concerns or issues.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a security team lead role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Post-secondary education in a law enforcement or security program from a recognized college.
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact, and diplomacy.
  • International Association of Healthcare Security Services (IAHSS) certificate would be an asset.
  • Valid Ontario Security License.
  • Immunization Record including MMR, Varicella, and 2 TB tests.
  • First Aid & CPR Level C.
  • Vaccination Status.
