About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. as a Solutions Architect Resource. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design and implementation of IT solutions that meet the business needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead solution evaluation and technical planning for Business Applications projects
  • Develop non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents
  • Develop proof of concepts and ensure solutions are successfully delivered into operations
  • Actively contribute to architecture boards and continued improvement of our practice
  • Oversee the activities of technical resources to deliver solutions
  • Work with project teams to develop conceptual architecture designs
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience as a technical lead on large IT projects
  • Architecture and/or hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and JD Edwards Enterprise One
  • Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP) and TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
  • Strong personal business, industry, and project management skills
  • Expert level communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within a governance framework for change management and information management
  • Experience managing the human side of digital disruption via adoption frameworks
  • Experience working closely with the business to guide them through the solutioning process

We offer a competitive hourly rate and a collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work on site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
