About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our team at BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. As a key member of our Business Applications Solutions & Architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative IT solutions to meet the business needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical solutions to business problems, including systems, applications, infrastructure, and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop conceptual architecture designs.
  • Lead technical planning and evaluation of solutions, including build vs. buy decisions.
  • Develop non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents.
  • Oversee the activities of technical resources to deliver solutions.
  • Work with project teams to develop and implement technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect in a technical lead role from start to finish on at least 2 significant/large-scale IT projects.
  • Architecture and/or hands-on experience with Oracle Customer Care & Billing, Oracle Utility Analytics, RESTFul API Integration techniques and tools, Oracle Service Bus, Control-M, Networking Firewall / Web Application Firewall Configuration, and Sparx Enterprise Architect Tool for Modeling and Analysis.
  • Expert-level communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
