Job Title: IT Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solution Architect to join our team at BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions to meet the business needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the evaluation of technical solutions and assume a technical leadership role on Business Applications projects.
  • Develop non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents.
  • Oversee the activities of technical resources to deliver solutions.
  • Work with project teams to develop conceptual architecture designs.
Requirements:
  • At least two (2) years of experience as a Solution Architect in a technical lead role from start to finish on significant/large scale IT projects.
  • Expertise in Oracle Customer Care & Billing, Oracle Utility Analytics, RESTFul API Integration techniques and tools, BizTalk, Oracle Service Bus, VL Trader, Control-M, and Networking Firewall / Web Application Firewall Configuration.
  • Architecture and/or hands-on experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect Tool for Modeling and Analysis, Rational Unified Process (RUP), TOGAF, and ADKAR.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Canadian federal, provincial, municipal government or similar work experience.
