Job Title: IT Solutions Architect, Data

SaskEnergy is seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our Business Applications Solutions & Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative IT solutions to meet the business needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop technical architectures for large-scale IT projects
  • Lead technical planning and implementation of IT solutions
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop conceptual architecture designs
  • Develop non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents
  • Oversee the activities of technical resources to deliver solutions
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect in a technical lead role
  • Architecture and/or hands-on experience with Oracle Customer Care & Billing, Oracle Utility Analytics, RESTFul API Integration techniques and tools, Oracle Service Bus, Control-M, and Networking Firewall / Web Application Firewall Configuration
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems and architectures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Sparx Enterprise Architect Tool for Modeling and Analysis
  • Expert level communicator with ability to create effective tailored content
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent at SaskEnergy's sole discretion

Contract Duration:

The Contract will be effective for an initial term commencing on award date and ending on March 31, with the option to renew for successive one-year terms, a maximum of four times, unless terminated in accordance with its provisions or by either party, at least ten business days prior to the expiry of the then current term.
