Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at GENERAL FREIGHT. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Directing: Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
- Information Provision: Provide basic information to clients and the public, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Customer Service: Obtain and process information required to provide excellent customer service, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Switchboard Operations: Operate the switchboard or telephone system, handling incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, including ordering office supplies, recording and relaying information, and maintaining accurate work records.
- Scheduling and Invoicing: Schedule and confirm appointments, send invoices, and receive and issue payments in a timely manner.
- Clerical Support: Provide clerical support, including filing, sorting, and distributing mail, as well as answering telephone calls and relaying messages.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
